Alan Foley's New Bird
Alan recently maidened his new bird. This was entirely 3D printed by Andrew Smallridge.
It’s from a design by Rene Marschal in Austria.
Wingspan 2 mtrs, weight 1200 grams, 1150 motor 3S. 10x5 folding prop.
Rene supplied the 46 STL files and Andrew Smallridge did all the 3D printing including rubber hinges and wing straps.
Very accurate printing which helped the in building.
Alan's next step is to airbrush it along the colours of the attached pics. That’ll take some time and expertise!
Alan wanted to test fly it before painting as it’s fairly ‘experimental’. Elevator mix to ailerons and motor mix to elevator.
