Over the past two days a number of Committee members have put in a herculean effort dig trenches to lay the power & ethernet cables required for the new shed. We hired a mini excavator for two days & set about installing the cables & finishing the drainage.Those involved were Norm Morrish, Peter Harris, Frank McPherson, Paul Somerville & myself(Daniel). Over the two days a number of members also pitched in & helped with laying the cables, thanks to those guys who stopped to help. Worth mentioning is Graeme Mills who spent hours on Saturday helping run out the cable & back fill the trench. He even gave himself a blister from using the rake.
After the cables were done we moved on to finishing the drainage around the new shed. This needed to be done so that we can get the final sign-off from council. A big thanks to Rick Talman & Alan Foley who pitched in and did 3+ hours installing storm water pipes.
