On the 22 Feb we will have the annual VSFAA Victorian State Scale Champs. F4C & ARF.
The field will be closed for the day to general flying, but anyone is welcome to join in. Details for the rule etc can be found on the scale association website here .

Well as the more observant of you would have known, we had the annual OS Day at the club on the 16th November. It was a windy day, but the weather stayed dry (yours truly got sunburnt whilst acting as Safety Officer)
It was a good day with 70 people registering & flying. We also had a fair number of visitors, so a good day all round & with Cardinia Primary School on hand to run the kitchens we had a great feed as well.

Well folks, it’s official. I now have the weather station up & running. This is my first pass at setting this up & I will improve on it over the next few weeks, however, as of now club members are able to access the weather station via the internet. Just use the link on the left hand side.

Hallam Hobbies are running a day course to teach members the disciplines required to confidently setup your helicopter for the first time, the right way, which includes hands on tuition. Participants should leave the day with a clear understanding of the correct set up procedures for a new heli
The course will be run on the 7th December at 9AM & will run for 4 hours. In order to enrol you must contact Fred on 03 9703-1160. The instructor for this course has over 10 years experience in this field. (venue is still to be decided)
Hallam Hobbies will also be providing lunch. This will be a great event for Heli pilots.
